As CEO of the UK team, Michelle is leading and integrating Commerce expertise across VMLY&R’s brand and customer experience offering. Her leadership is transforming how the agency delivers client growth through Living Commerce, a proprietary way of understanding, how, when and why people buy. Recent pioneering launches include a commercial planning capability, an innovation capability, and, a global ecommerce product called CatScan, part of the Living Commerce data driven operating system. Earlier this year as part of a collaborative WPP team effort, VMLY&R Commerce UK landed WPP’s Creative Transformation Award – celebrating remarkable work reflecting the power of creative commerce to build better futures for clients and communities. This was for Boots’ “Bootiques” – the retailer’s first experiential-led Christmas campaign. Michelle sits on WPP UK’s advisory board, and the VMLY&R COMMERCE global operations board. She is a member of WACL and a mentor of its future leaders’ programme.
