Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer, Invictus Games Sydney 2018

Nineteen years experience across sports and entertainment marketing, content, sponsorship and event management has given me a rich variety and depth of marketing experience, alongside the business, commercial, operational and leadership skills developed whilst founding a successful agency, and instigating and driving an international sporting event.

Landing in Australia in 2005, I enjoyed 4 years with Octagon Australia before founding Ensemble Australia. We developed integrated marketing campaigns that help make brands welcome in people’s lives, integrating messaging into the real world with creativity, relevance and purpose. During my six years at Ensemble I teamed up with two great people from Deloitte to write the bid to bring the Invictus Games to Australia. On successfully winning the opportunity to host the Games in 2018, we set up the Organising Committee where I led all commercial, marketing, communications and ticketing functions.

My personal drive comes from creating commercially viable products, experiences and services that drive emotion and deliver real world impact. I derive much satisfaction from doing so within an empowered team environment that equally enjoy challenging the status quo.
